My projects centre on the mechanisms of transmitting, losing and even purposely exterminating knowledge. Through these mechanisms, an unavoidable dialogue is established between remembering (memory) and forgetting (oblivion).
I understand memory like construction of speech, knowledge and thought. It is the means through which one preserves experiences lived. It is the responsibility of avoiding oblivion that each new generation takes on.
It is domestic archaeology. Sometimes this shows itself as a material inclination, sometimes in a metaphorical sense: of sediment, of trace, of the ethereal. Accumulations of memory are protagonists in a play that verifies life. They register existence and resist death.
